๐ŸŽจ Sublimation Prints โ€“ Application Instructions

๐Ÿ‘• Compatible Surfaces:

  • Polyester fabrics (100% or high polyester content).
  • Poly-coated items like mugs, tumblers, keychains, phone cases, and hard substrates.

๐Ÿ”ฅ Heat Press / Sublimation:

  • Preheat press for 2โ€“3 seconds to remove moisture from garments or surfaces.
  • Set temperature according to item type: typical ranges are 400ยฐF (204ยฐC) for fabrics and 375โ€“400ยฐF (190โ€“204ยฐC) for coated items.
  • Apply medium pressure for the recommended time: 45โ€“60 seconds for fabrics, 60โ€“90 seconds for coated hard surfaces.
  • Use sublimation paper and tape to secure your design.
  • Peel paper immediately after pressing for hard surfaces, or remove carrier carefully for fabrics.

๐Ÿงผ Laundering (for apparel):

  • Wait at least 24 hours before the first wash.
  • Machine wash cold inside out with mild detergent.
  • Do not bleach or dry clean.
  • Tumble dry low or hang dry.
  • Do not iron directly on the design; use a protective sheet if necessary.

โš ๏ธ Important Notes:

  • Sublimation works best on light-colored polyester fabrics and poly-coated items.
  • Full-color transfers require even heat and pressure for consistent results.
  • Test on a small area if using unusual substrates or mixed-fiber fabrics.
  • Items with metallic or cotton content will not fully absorb sublimation ink.

โœ… Tip: Use heat-resistant tape to prevent shifting during pressing and ensure crisp, vibrant designs.
